"Cerridwen's Tavern" is more than a painting; it's a portal to a world where the past and present merge in the cozy confines of Gravediggers Pub in Dublin. The artwork captures the tender relationship between a devoted bartender and his curmudgeonly patron, set against the backdrop of a pub frequented by gravediggers and funeral-goers. With meticulous attention to detail, from the gleaming bottles to the warm wood of the bar, each element tells a story of loyalty, remembrance, and the thin veil between life and death.

"Inspired by the myth of Cerridwen, the Welsh goddess of rebirth and transformation, this painting explores themes of closure, commemoration, and the cycle of life and death. As viewers gaze into the tavern, they can almost hear the murmurs of past patrons and feel the presence of spirits passing through the doorway to the next dimension, depicted by the light-filled exit on the right. It was an honor to present this piece to Aidan, the bartender, whose appreciation for the work affirmed its purpose and meaning.
